VP Channel Sales – PE-backed, UK-headquartered SaaS Provider

 

Our client is a leading UK-headquartered SaaS provider with regional offices in the US and Netherlands, and their market leading software solutions are utilised by over 75m users and 40,000 customers globally. The company has current revenues of c£30m, with the ambition to reach £100m by 2025.

The company is now looking to hire a VP Channel Sales. This is a newly created role and will be responsible for transforming a reactive inbound model into a proactive outbound model.

The successful candidate will be tasked with determining the channel sales strategy, identifying, recruiting and training Reseller and Distributor channel partners and building the Reseller and Distributor channel partner network.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have significant experience and a performance track record of leading a channel sales function and managing channel sales teams, with a performance track record of successfully delivering revenue growth within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Be highly experienced in defining in the internal systems, outlining what good looks like from a partner, and implementing the channel sales strategy, the go-to-market channel sales model and the channel sales market proposition for a B2B SaaS provider.
  • Have extensive experience of Identifying, qualifying, engaging with, recruiting, onboarding and training the Reseller and Distributor channel partners within a high velocity B2B SaaS context.
  • Have demonstrable experience of building and developing strong, sustainable relationships with the key Reseller and Distributor channel partners and proactively managing the channel partners to generate increased sales.
