Our client is a B2B data-as-a-service company who have raised over $140m of funding from some of the biggest Tier One VCs globally and is scaling rapidly.

As the company continues to grow globally, there is an immediate requirement for a high-calibre VP Marketing to join the business. This individual will be responsible for defining and communicating the value proposition to position the business as the global leader in analytics and data insights. He/she will create a cohesive strategy and market positioning for the overall company and individual product lines.

This is a global role that will shape the corporate positioning and branding for next phase of growth leading up to a “unicorn” exit in the next five years.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an extremely talented and credible individual with strong presentation and communication skills. He/she will be capable of bridging stakeholder requirements (internal and external), business strategy and product roadmap.
  • Have and bring flair to a technology company looking to build its marketing capabilities and brand.
  • Demonstrate a logical and progressive career path in strategic marketing on an international basis.
  • Have a proven track record in defining and executing strategic marketing campaigns to position nascent solutions and educate the market about new value propositions.
  • Have a strong track record of building relationships with leading analysts to shape and influence new technology categories, and of achieving market leadership positions in the chosen markets.
  • Have experience of an IPO process, or has been an Executive of a public company, is desirable though not essential.
  • Ideally have come from the enterprise data or software industry
  • Ideally have experience of one or more key verticals – central Government, insurance, financial services
