Our client is one of the most innovative radio technology companies in the world. The technology is proven, with the client having major design wins for IoT ‘plug and play’ modules that have recently been launched. They are in the process of radically disrupting the connectivity marketplace; initially the focus is the consumer and industrial IoT markets.

 

The board now require a highly commercial CEO to lead this company through the commercial scale-up phase, and so we are looking for CEO with a strong sales and business development background as the business model will require strong “go-to-market” and “deal making” capability.

 

This role is all about commercial execution.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • CEO or CCO that has been through the lifecycle of a venture capital backed technology. The client will also consider corporate profiles, where experience of innovation and business unit P&L leadership can be demonstrated.
  • A strong commercial track record is essential – defining and executing go-to-market with demonstrable success.
  • Experience will have been gained in the semiconductor value-chain, with preference for experience of IoT, RF, connectivity and/or networking.
  • Deep international business experience with the ability to define and execute ‘go-to-market’ commercial strategies. Will have gained experience of negotiating and closing complex partnership deals.
  • Will have worked on an international basis, with contacts and credibility within the Asian and US markets. Experience of India is a bonus as this is a high potential market.
