SH Consulting/Next Wave Perspectives Webinar: The Future of Operational Resilience and what that means for organisations

Date: Wednesday 3rd March
Time: 10:00 (EST) / 15:00 (GMT)

SH Consulting and NextWave are pleased to announce the next webinar in our Perspective Series: The Future of Operational Resilience and what that means for organisations.
With the global pandemic disrupting the financial sector operating models and the UK financial regulators imminently due to introduce operational resilience rules with SMF24 holders, under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime, accountable for compliance, operational resilience is becoming a ‘third pillar’ of regulation, alongside prudential and conduct regulation. Recent high-profile outages, service disruptions and business continuity plans becoming business as usual have dramatically impacted on both retail and business customers taking operational resilience to the top of the agenda for executive boards.
In this one hour webinar which focuses on operational resilience in the financial sector, our panel of industry specialists and subject matter experts will explore topics including:
  • What does operational resilience mean in today’s world?
  • How has the COVID-19 experience validated the proposed UK regulatory approach to operational resilience?
  • What are the near-term considerations vs the longer-term considerations for Financial Institutions?
  • How can the financial services sector still embrace innovation and Fintechs at pace without raising the stakes in respect of operational resilience?
  • Operational Resilience as a commercial opportunity
