    Herausforderung<\/strong><\/p>

    Unser Kunde ist ein Staatsfonds mit Sitz im Nahen Osten. Die AUM des Unternehmens belaufen sich auf \u00fcber $650 Milliarden. <\/p>

    Die Aufgabe des Kunden besteht darin, im Auftrag der Regierung Gelder zu investieren, um die notwendigen finanziellen Mittel zur Sicherung und Aufrechterhaltung des zuk\u00fcnftigen Wohlstands der Region bereitzustellen.
    Der Kunde war in den letzten 10 Jahren erheblich gewachsen und hatte ein Stadium erreicht, in dem das Unternehmen eine neue unabh\u00e4ngige Risikofunktion schaffen wollte, um das Unternehmen strategischer zu unterst\u00fctzen. Nach einer \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung durch McKinsey wurde Sheffield Haworth beauftragt, eine globale Suche nach dem neuen Chief Risk Officer und dem F\u00fchrungsteam, das diese Person unterst\u00fctzen sollte, durchzuf\u00fchren. Zu diesen Funktionen geh\u00f6rten der Leiter des Bereichs Investment Risk, der Leiter des Bereichs Counterparty Risk, der Leiter des Bereichs Operational Risk und der Leiter des Bereichs Risk Adjusted Portfolio Analytics.
    Die Suche richtete sich an Kandidaten auf MD-Ebene sowohl aus der Buy- als auch aus der Sell-Side-Branche weltweit, da man branchenf\u00fchrende Risikomanagement-Experten f\u00fcr das Unternehmen gewinnen wollte.     Unser Kunde ist eine globale Investmentbank und ein Finanzdienstleistungsunternehmen. Sheffield Haworth wurde mit der Arbeit an einem mehrj\u00e4hrigen Projekt zur Umgestaltung des Risikos beauftragt, das sowohl den amtierenden Group Chief Risk Officer als auch zun\u00e4chst den EMEA Group CEO unterst\u00fctzen sollte. Der Kunde stand unter dem zunehmenden Druck britischer, anderer europ\u00e4ischer und US-amerikanischer Aufsichtsbeh\u00f6rden, das CRO-Team auf h\u00f6herer Ebene zu verst\u00e4rken. Das urspr\u00fcngliche Mandat bestand darin, einen CRO f\u00fcr Gro\u00dfbritannien zu finden, eine neu geschaffene Position. <\/p>

    Der anschlie\u00dfende Aufbau betraf jede Risikoart und jede Risikoinfrastrukturfunktion weltweit. Die einstellenden Manager waren regionale Chief Executive Officer’s in APAC, EMEA und USA sowie ein neu ernannter Group Chief Risk Officer. <\/p>

    Sheffield Haworth hat sich mit den Mitbegr\u00fcndern eines neuen Fixed Income Systematic Fund zusammengetan, um deren F\u00fchrungs-, Investment-, Data Science- und Technologiegruppen aufzubauen. Ihr Gesch\u00e4ftsziel war die Erforschung, Entwicklung und kontinuierliche Verbesserung eines wissenschaftlichen Anlageprozesses, der auf die Verwaltung von festverzinslichen Anlagen anwendbar ist.
    Sie entwickeln festverzinsliche Anlagethemen, die von stilistischen Methoden bis hin zu datenwissenschaftlichen Alpha-generierenden Techniken reichen, einschlie\u00dflich der Systematisierung derjenigen, die traditionell von diskretion\u00e4ren festverzinslichen Managern eingesetzt werden. Zu den Entwicklungsbereichen geh\u00f6ren strukturierte Datennutzung, wissenschaftliche und evidenzbasierte Anlageverfahren, angewandte und fundamentale algorithmische F&E, systematisches Alpha-Sourcing-Research, effizienter Marktzugang und die Entwicklung von datenwissenschaftlichen und analytischen Tools zur Erleichterung der Alpha-Generierung, der effizienten Portfoliokonstruktion, des Risikomanagements und transparenter Quellen f\u00fcr Portfoliorisiko und -rendite.
    Die Leitprinzipien des Unternehmens sind wissenschaftliche Orientierung, intellektuelle Ehrlichkeit und ein prozessorientierter Ansatz f\u00fcr alle wichtigen Aspekte des Gesch\u00e4fts.
    Innerhalb von 12 Monaten schloss Sheffield Haworth erfolgreich den Aufbau seines Gr\u00fcndungs-F\u00fchrungsteams ab und stellte insgesamt mehr als 30 Mitarbeiter f\u00fcr das Unternehmen ein, darunter den Co-Chief Investment Officer und Head of Engineering, den Finanzdirektor und den Head of Operations.
