A Private Equity owned global business services firm required a programme to be designed and delivered to integrate Channel Islands based Private Equity & Real Estate Fund services businesses.



  • Following the acquisition of the Private Equity & Real Estate (PERE) fund services business from a US firm the Programme Manager was engaged to design and lead the carve out and integration.
  • To receive regulatory approval for the transaction and deliver a combined and fully operational business within 12 months.
  • Requirement to navigate a complex technology landscape of over 170 legacy systems.



  • A new PERE operating model was defined and implemented in order to transform the business and achieve the target run-rate KPIs set out in the business case.
  • Put in place and operate appropriate Programme controls, reporting and risk management processes.
  • Ensured timely delivery of all Programme objectives as agreed by the Steering Committee, in line with local regulatory requirements.



  • Approval for the transaction gained from JFSC.
  • Feedback from the client and regulator on the quality of the programme governance has been exceptional.
  • Existing remediation issues managed.
  • Programme to deliver full integration currently ongoing.
