Giving Back

As a consulting firm the nature of our business is people; finding the right solution for our clients needs, matching professional competence with cultural alignment. It could be said that our business is concerned with the ‘sustainability of people in their professional environments’.

Our professional responsibility focuses mainly on the promotion of diversity and inclusion and, increasingly, the diversity of thought. We align ourselves with key organisations promoting diversity in the work space across industrial sectors we cover. Not all of these are necessarily advertised as they form part of our networks.

Our Social Responsibility has focused on charitable endeavours where the firm will focus on one or two primary charities. Shared experience and responsibilities promotes a healthy collegiate environment the benefits of which can be seen many times over. More recently the firm has encouraged and supported colleagues with additional charities where there are areas of more special interest. These can be illness related or where there is a need to actively work in a community that needs some help in restoring some aspects of basic social infrastructure.

We are helping to fund and provide mentoring and coaching for disadvantaged young people in London, supporting them and helping them prepare for a Dragon’s Den event where groups from different schools pitch against each other to win money towards their chosen charity.

This is in addition to our employee volunteering and fundraising activity for a number of local and global charities, which includes giving blood, bake sales and participating in a number of charity sporting events to help raise money for our chosen charities at a regional level.

We are committed to regularly taking on interns and work experience students across our teams and office locations enabling them to learn key skills through real-time projects that will help them with both their studies and their future careers.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

Additionally, we fully support The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 which provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. There are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
