Sheffield Haworth announced today that a team, led by Shivani Hazari will join the business in India.

Shivani joins from EWK International and will assume the role of Managing Director, taking on the day to day responsibility for the business in India.

Deepak Verma, Chairman of Sheffield Haworth India, will take on a full-time client management and business development role, leveraging his extensive network of senior professional contacts and support the firm’s regional clients.

Tim Sheffield, CEO of Sheffield Haworth stated that “the enlarged business will broaden our India sector coverage to include financial services, consulting, metals and mining, real estate, infrastructure, power and energy and technology. Although the Sheffield Haworth brand is synonymous with global financial services, our clients are keen for us to develop a broader industry coverage model in specific developing regions like India.”

Shivani joins from EWK International where she has headed the India business since 2006. She has a wealth of search experience across multiple sectors, having worked at Korn Ferry (Delhi and Dubai) and Pipal Research (a leading customised business research company). Previously she headed the financial services research team for Egon Zehnder in India. Shivani started her career in the Corporate Banking division of Deutsche Bank having graduated with a degree in Economics and a Masters in Business Economics from the University of Delhi.
