Sheffield Haworth announced today that it is increasing its Asia Pacific expansion and is launching an office in Australia

Sheffield Haworth Australia will be based in Sydney and will be run by former founder of Orpin & May, Julius Orpin who will act as Managing Director of the Sheffield Haworth operation.

Jules was previously a Partner within the Financial Services practice at Heidrick & Struggles (formerly Highland Partners) and headed up P&L and staff management across Banking, Asset Management, Insurance and Commerce at Morgan & Banks in Sydney.

The latest Global Stock Market Review by Standard and Poor’s listed Australia’s stock market as the ninth largest in the world in total market capitalisation terms and the second largest in the Asia–Pacific region, after Japan’s. Sheffield Haworth Australia will form the last piece of its Asia Pacific expansion after launching Singapore and Tokyo in last 2009.
