The US business has recruited a highly experienced 3 person team of Hedge Fund & Wealth and Asset Management consultants from Sextant Search Partners, the specialist Alternative Asset Management search firm. The Boston Team will work closely with Kathy Tompkins in New York who established and developed the North American Practice and Patrick Morrissey, Global Head of the Wealth and Asset Management practice, based in London.

Prior to joining Sheffield Haworth, Paige was a partner and Head of the Asset Management and Hedge Fund Practice of Sextant Partners, focusing on senior-level searches for institutional sales and marketing, institutional client service/investor relations, consultant relations and product specialist professionals as well as equity and fixed income portfolio managers and product specialists, equity and fixed income analysts, chief investment officers, hedge fund investment professionals, heads of wealth management and investment portfolio managers. Prior to Sextant, Paige was a senior client partner within Korn Ferry's Investment Management Practice as well as co-head of the firm's Hedge Fund Practice, based in the Boston and San Francisco offices.

These new hires come on the back of an important five year milestone for Sheffield Haworth in the US search market. Despite the tough market conditions for the executive search industry, Sheffield Haworth continues to expand its international footprint and now generates in excess of 40% of its global revenues outside of the UK.

The firm remains on course to achieve its longer term goal of creating a balanced international search firm dedicated to the global financial services industry. Total staff numbers have increased over the past 6 months and further strategic hires are due to be announced over the next few months.

Commenting on the recent hires, Tim Sheffield, founder and CEO of the group says "I am delighted that we have brought on board Paige and her team in Boston. Our Wealth and Asset Management practice continues its international growth and these experienced hires set the pace for the next chapter in our ambitions to take a leading position globally and in the US. Despite the downturn over the past 12 months, our business remains focused on staying the course and taking advantage of strategic opportunities.”
