Sheffield Haworth is proud to announce that it will be sponsoring the Shackleton centenary expedition to the Antarctic this year to commemorate the original Nimrod expedition undertaken in 1907-1909.

Ernest Shackleton returned to Britain from Captain Scott's Discovery Expedition of 1903 to mount his own assault on the unclaimed South Pole. The centenary expedition plans to retrace Shackleton's path and his direct descendants form the team embarking on this  900 mile journey.
